Kathy GoodacreKathy Goodacre, President
Kathy Goodacre has over 20 years experience as a marketing and fundraising executive for business, government and non-profit organizations. As a former non-profit executive and now consultant, she developed strategy and execution of multi-million dollar capital campaigns, endowment campaigns, annual giving programs, and fundraising events. Kathy first worked with the Campaign in 2007 and 2008 to produce the Climate All Stars Conference.

Jane Bender, Vice President
Jane served on the Santa Rosa City Council for ten years, including service as mayor from 2004-2006. While in office, she championed the greenhouse gas emission targets, among other climate protection initiatives. She also was co-director of ReLeaf for thirteen years, a non-profit organization that advocates for the planting of trees.

 

Stacy MagillStacy Magill, Treasurer
Stacy Magill, CFO of Ghilotti Construction Co., is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves as a board member of the Bay Area Council and as a board alternate for the North Bay Leadership Council. She holds an Executive Certificate from Dominican University’s Green Your MBA Program.

Jim McGreen, SecretaryJim McGreen
Jim has a long history of entrepreneurial experience. He was Chairman and CEO of dLoo, a software development company; Co-Founder, President and CEO of ZAP Power Systems, maker of electric vehicles; board member of Farm9, an internet security company; and board member of LITE Initiatives, the parent to CarLite and Community Bikes. He has been to Burning Man 16 times.

Lawrence JaffeLawrence Jaffe, First Past President
Lawrence lives in Sebastopol with his wife and two daughters and practices law in Santa Rosa. He formerly served on the Board of the Santa Rosa Downtown Market and as an aide to Pat Wiggins when she was in the Assembly. He also operated Left Field Farm. He is the Grange Master of the Sebastopol Grange and serves on the Sonoma County Community Development Commission.


Larry Robinson

Larry served twelve years on the Sebastopol City Council. As co-chair of the city’s Energy Committee, he helped bring Sebastopol to the forefront on solar power. He was also a leader in affordable housing and green buildings while on the council. He is a retired psychotherapist and a published poet.

 

Carl Mears
Carl Mears is a Senior Scientist with Remote Sensing Systems in Santa Rosa, where he specializes in satellite-measured temperature data. Carl has served as a contributing author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the world’s foremost authority on global warming science.

 

Dick Dowd
Dick was vice president of Pinnacle Homes and has been a member of the Santa Rosa Board of Public Utilities since 1994. He has assisted with the Sonoma Clean Power project since 2010.

 

 

Natasha Granoff
Natasha is Director of Business Development for Sonoma Wine Company. She was instrumental in Sonoma Wine Company’s installation of a large scale cutting edge solar thermal technology system. This approach is  far more efficient than conventional photovoltaic panels because it captures heat that would otherwise be lost.

 

Martha Kowalick
Martha Kowalick’s background is in organizing, planning, and fundraising on local, regional, and national levels. Trained by the United Farm Workers, she has worked on health, security, and women’s issues. She is one of the founding partners of the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center.
