SUMMER 2005 UPDATE!Recent action on GHG community target 25% reduction from 1990
levels by 2015: Also, Petaluma, Healdsburg, and Santa Rosa set targets for their internal municipal operations. Now 8 out of 10 Sonoma municipalities have set their targets for internal operations. (Cloverdale and the City of Sonoma remain.) In preparation for the City of Sonoma Council's meeting, on Thursday, August 11, 2005 7:15 PM, John Kelly, a City of Sonoma representative who participated in the May 21, 2005 community target setting workshop, and Ann Hancock, Climate Protection Campaign, will briefly describe how the proposed targets support Sonoma's commitment to climate protection. Immediately following will be shown the video Rising Waters about the impact of rising sea levels on islands in the South Pacific. Location: Sonoma Community Center, Room 110
