The Prince of Wales' Business and the Environment Programme held their seminar for senior executives and influential decision-makers for the first time on the west coast this May.  I was invited to the four day seminar and offered a scholarship. I made terrific connections with leaders from around the world, for example, Dow Chemical's Public Affairs and Policy Director, Shell International's Vice President of External Affairs, and the Senior Advisor to ABN AMRO Bank. The facilitator for our syndicate group (similar to a home-base group) was Jorgen Randers, one of the co-authors of "Limits to Growth" and currently a professor of Policy Analysis at the Norwegian School of Management. He is also involved in Norway's climate protection effort.

Not only was this a great networking opportunity, but also a wonderful way to learn the global business perspective on creating a sustainable world. I came away with a renewed commitment to our work at the Climate Protection Campaign.
