- Worked throughout the year with 50 community representatives and technical consultants on the Community Climate Action Plan, the blueprint for achieving Sonoma County's ambitious greenhouse gas reduction target. These achievements have built upon the Campaign's past accomplishments, highlights of which are:
- Collaborated with all nine Sonoma cities and the County to adopt the most ambitious greenhouse gas reduction target in the U.S. - 25% below 1990 levels by 2015.
- Pioneered an innovative project called eCO2mmute that engages students to take action for climate protection. In one school students reduced their commute emissions 21% in three weeks.
- Showed how local businesses can reduce emissions while saving money. One business had a 42% emission reduction while increasing production 100%.
